Branding and print collateral for a non-profit art museum in the heart of small town, Beeville, TX. The Beeville Art Museum was founded in 2001 and continues to serve the community by providing a space where art enthusiasts of all ages are welcome to learn, create, and celebrate art. The goal of this project is to create a brand with a community-centered message, and position the BAM as a valued contribution to it's tight-knit community. 


Brand Voice

All museum communications should carry a neighborly tone, that's informative, accessible, and kid-friendly.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to make art experiences and education accessible to visitors of all ages, at no cost to the community. We strive to provide a welcoming environment that engages all levels of art enthusiasts.




Certain brand colors were chosen to compliment the architecture of the Museum. The blues recall the wrap-around porch on the historic building—built as a residence in 1910—while the white and grey reference the columns and exterior. 



Eczar—a slab serif packed with small-town charm—pairs harmoniously with clean and legible Work Sans.



An artistically rendered bee, set in the center of a typographic emblem. The emblematic format of the logo, and the inclusion of the date of establishment, serve to position the museum as a local institution. This treatment is a reference to the historic storefronts that have lined the main street of Beeville since the turn of the 20th century.


Web Look & Feel



Facebook serves as the Museum's primary channel of communication to the public. This is where announcements are posted about events, exhibits, and children's programs. For events with a youth focus, posts will feature photos of the event title lettered in children's media.




ID Badges

A simple color code differentiates permanent staff from volunteers and docents, letting guests know who they're speaking with during well-attended events and exhibit openings.
