A design competition sponsored by Frost Bank. The directive of the competition was to design an app that helps people save money. Checkt helps you save money by transferring a few cents from your checking to your savings every time you launch a linked social media app. The goal of this project was to make saving money as effortless and intuitive as checking your Facebook feed.
30% of all time spent online is spent browsing social media.
60% of all social media interactions are facilitated by a mobile device.
Based on interviews conducted with Checkt's target user group: Adults aged 18-40 who regularly use social media.
